Ceramic decalc
Marking groupsThe technique involves applying a special paint to the surface of a ceramic object. A film-forming cover-coat layer is used for the transfer of the ink to the substrate. The image is transferred manually. Then the backing paper is burned at 200°C.
We are not afraid of magenta! Decal paper allows you to transfer the image to the ceramic surface and permanently embed it in the glaze. A film-forming cover-coat layer is used to manually transfer the colour to the substrate. Then the backing paper is burned at 200°C. This process ensures that the printed images are durable and of high quality. To decorate ceramic products using decal method, we use low-temperature inks thanks to which the transferred print colours are 100% consistent with the required Pantone colours. We are not afraid of magenta! We recommend hand washing. NOTE: To secure safe shipping of ceramics, we take special measures to protect the package, which increases transport costs.
1. Quality - the technique of applying images using decal paper allows us to make multi-coloured prints of very good quality, and the burning of the paper in the later stage of the process leaves the edges clean. The colours are matched using the Pantone system.
2. Longevity - the high quality of decal prints makes them durable and resistant to abrasion that might result from everyday use. It is recommended to wash products printed with decal paper by hand, as this significantly extends their lifecycle.
3. Form - ceramic decal makes it possible to perfectly match the paper with design to the product on which it will be applied. Thanks to this, ceramics and porcelain of various kinds can be decorated in style.
